"account": "The 521kg methamphetamine haul seized from a private jet in Laos was not sourced from Malaysia, according to the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department (NCID). The jet departed empty from Subang Airport in Malaysia and flew to Luang Prabang, Laos before the drugs were loaded onto it. The drugs, which were destined for Manila, Philippines, were discovered during a routine check of 23 bags arriving at the airport in Laos. Thirteen individuals, including a Singaporean pilot, a Malaysian co-pilot, and a Filipino passenger, were arrested in connection with the seizure. Additionally, three Lao ground-handling company employees and seven Lao airport personnel were arrested for their roles in the operation. Both Malaysian and Lao authorities are conducting investigations into the case and plan to send NCID officers to Laos to gather more information about the drug syndicate involved and any potential links to Malaysia.",
