"account": "Doha, the capital of Qatar, confirmed on Tuesday that the United States and Iran are still engaged in talks aimed at ending the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, despite a deadlock having set in seven months ago. The indirect negotiations are taking place with the concerns of various parties in mind, according to Ibrahim Al-Hashmi, a foreign ministry official who addressed a routine press briefing.\n\nAl-Hashmi affirmed that the dialogue between the two nations continues, with message exchanges happening through Qatar and its regional partners. He emphasized the urgency of resolving this conflict quickly due to the significant impact it has on the entire world.\n\nOn the same day, Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Iran's Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni in Doha, as reported by the royal palace in a press statement. This meeting comes amid several diplomatic efforts, including a ceasefire in April, a memorandum of understanding in June, and talks at the UN General Assembly last month. However, despite these attempts, the United States and Iran remain divided over the strategic Strait of Hormuz.\n\nNotably, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Monday that discussions with the US were \"meaningless\" and merely led to further attacks, according to state media.",
