"account": "Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has not expressed any intention of becoming Nigeria's president in 2027, according to House of Representatives member Akin Alabi. During a radio interview, Alabi claimed that Makinde's presidential campaign is primarily focused on providing visibility for his preferred candidate in the Oyo State governorship election, Bimbo Adekanmbi. Alabi stated that Makinde recognizes Adekanmbi's struggle to win the governorship election without his continued support. He further argued that Adekanmbi's chances of defeating the All Progressives Congress candidate for governor, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, would be hampered without Makinde's presence in the political arena. Despite Makinde's formal declaration of his presidential ambition earlier this year, Alabi maintains that his ambition is aimed at strengthening Adekanmbi's chances in the Oyo governorship contest.",
