"summary": "The Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is conducted in 10 foreign cities where Nigerians living abroad can register and sit for the test. These cities include Abidjan in Côte d'Ivoire, Accra in Ghana, Banjul in The Gambia, Buea in Cameroon, Cotonou in Benin Republic, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Johannesburg in South Africa, London in the United Kingdom, Malabo in Equatorial Guinea, and Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. The registration fee for foreign candidates is $30 or its equivalent in local currency. The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Segun Aina, stated that the planned opening of a new centre in Ottawa, Canada, for the 2027 UTME is to expand access for Nigerians in Canada and other parts of North America, rather than generate revenue.",
