"account": "Oprah Winfrey has selected a debut novel for her book club, announcing Tuesday that her choice is Amanda Rizkalla's \"Hungered.\" Published in May, the 28-year-old author crafted a \"riveting\" story about families living in poverty and unhoused, detailing their hopes, dreams, and resilience in facing each day. Rizkalla, originally from Los Angeles and now residing in the Bay Area, studied at Stanford University and earned a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Like many authors after joining Winfrey's book club three decades ago, she learned of her selection through a surprise phone call from Winfrey herself. Rizkalla expressed her shock, admitting that moments still feel like a dream. The conversation with Rizkalla can be viewed on Winfrey's YouTube channel and various other platforms.",
