"account": "President Bola Tinubu has mourned the loss of Malam Nafiu Baba-Ahmed, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Shari’ah in Nigeria (SCSN). The Nigerian leader described Baba-Ahmed as a respected administrator and religious figure who passed away early Tuesday. In a statement released by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu highlighted Baba-Ahmed's wisdom, foresight, and dedication to unity, justice, and peaceful coexistence as he guided the SSCN's affairs. The President reminisced about their long-standing relationship, particularly during the 2011 election and Tinubu's 2023 presidential campaign, where Baba-Ahmed provided valuable counsel and support. Tinubu emphasized the Secretary-General's vital role in maintaining the SCSN's voice on national issues, promoting moral renewal, and advocating for social justice. He expressed condolences to the SCSN President, its members, the family and government of Kaduna State, and the Nigerian Muslim community over this significant loss. Tinubu prayed for Baba-Ahmed's forgiveness, admission to Jannatul Firdaus, and strength for his family and the Muslim Ummah to bear this profound sorrow.",
