"summary": "The Anambra State Police Command has taken disciplinary action against several officers over the disappearance of an armed robbery suspect from custody. According to the Punch Nigeria, Commissioner of Police Nnanna Ama ordered the immediate issuance of queries to the Divisional Police Officer in charge of 3-3 Police Station and a Deputy Superintendent of Police.\n\nThe Commissioner also directed the immediate commencement of disciplinary proceedings against an Inspector of Police. This decision was made after Ama personally interviewed the complainant and the police officers concerned over a viral video alleging that the suspect could not be accounted for.\n\nThe incident and subsequent actions were confirmed by the command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga. The directives were given on October 5, 2026. Premium Times obtained a viral video related to the incident, which showed residents narrating how it happened.",
