"account": "Dennis Miracles Aboagye, newly appointed Director of Communications for the NPP, has defended the party's decision to elect Kojo Bamba as their First Vice Chairman, despite criticism from NDC Deputy General Secretary Mustapha Gbande. Gbande expressed concerns that Bamba's past involvement with political vigilantism may have influenced his mindset, suggesting a potential inclination towards violence. Speaking on GhanAkoma radio show, Aboagye refuted Gbande's allegations and highlighted Bamba's unique combination of experience and intellect, stating that such qualities are scarce within the NDC. Aboagye also criticized Gbande for his comments on Bamba's election, alleging that the Deputy General Secretary was merely fearful of the NPP executive, which affected his remarks. Furthermore, Aboagye defended the overall composition of the newly elected NPP national leadership, noting that the individuals have the potential to work harmoniously together. His remarks were in response to Gbande's critique, which labeled the Bamba appointment as an example of \"backward politics\" and connected it to political violence. Bamba was elected as the First Vice Chairman of the NPP at the party's National Delegates Conference in Kumasi on October 3, garnering 3,116 votes.",
