"account": "Letting Stephen Welsh leave Celtic was perhaps a mistake, but there's a but. The 26-year-old Welsh, who never quite broke into the first team at Celtic despite his loyalty and service, was allowed to depart on a free transfer. Swansea City, presumably willing to meet Celtic's asking price, ultimately opted against signing him and instead secured a more lucrative deal for the Jacks. Welsh's impressive performances for Motherwell and the Scotland national side led to his call-up to the senior team. While some Celtic supporters have reconsidered their stance on the decision to release Welsh, it's clear that many had doubts about his potential to make an impact at Celtic under Martin O'Neill and Shaun Maloney.",
