"account": "Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on Alisson Becker's contract situation at Liverpool. The 34-year-old goalkeeper is nearing the end of his current deal, which was extended by one year during the latter half of the 2023-24 season. Alisson has been a key player for Liverpool despite interest from Juventus during the summer transfer window. In an update on the Here We Go Podcast, Romano stated that no active contract discussions are currently underway between Alisson and Liverpool, as the club has already activated an extension for another season until 2027. If Liverpool wishes to retain Alisson beyond that point, a new contract will need to be negotiated. There are no additional options in Alisson's existing contract, leaving it uncertain what will transpire moving forward. Romano suggested that there could be some movement in the summer of 2027, but by then it would be too late to keep Alisson at Liverpool, as he would become a free agent in July.",
