"account": "Rite Foods Limited pledges zero waste to landfill by 2030, promoting circular economy in Ogun State. In a World Cleanup Day initiative with Ogun State Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA), the company distributed 600 coveralls to street sweepers, with 30% of materials sourced from its own waste. Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Ekuma Eze, emphasizes transforming waste into useful resources and urges collaboration between private sector and government in tackling waste management challenges. Eze states that the initiative is part of Rite Foods' broader commitment to a clean environment and aims for zero waste to landfill by 2030. Adeniyi, Special Adviser on Environment to Ogun State Governor, commends Rite Foods' efforts, urging other companies to join in maintaining a clean environment and emphasizing a collective responsibility. OGWAMA's Blue Box Initiative encourages community participation in waste collection and recycling, moving the state away from landfill dependence towards recycling and resource recovery.",
