"account": "For photographers seeking a compact, budget-friendly camera with cutting-edge continuous autofocus capabilities, the Sony Alpha A6400 presents itself as an excellent choice. Available through an Amazon Prime deal, this camera is priced at $998, accompanied by a versatile 16-50mm lens. While its design may be considered somewhat outdated, the affordability ensures photographers still receive a robust set of features. One of the most notable aspects of the A6400 is its autofocus performance, which stands out as exceptional and assures sharp images. This feature's reliability may outweigh any design drawbacks for many users.\n\nOver in the UK, enthusiasts can take advantage of an attractive deal, where the Sony Alpha A6400 is reduced to £667, along with the 16-50mm lens. Key specifications include a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor, capable of shooting at a range of ISO settings from 100 to 32,000. The camera boasts an 11 frames per second shooting rate, accompanied by a 2.36m-dot electronic viewfinder and a 3-inch, 921,600-dot tilting touchscreen. It also supports 4K video recording, alongside a 3-inch, 921,600-dot tilting touchscreen. Reviewers have lauded the Sony Alpha A6400 for its 'astonishingly good subject-tracking autofocus', combined with 'excellent image quality in almost any shooting situation', all wrapped in 'decent build quality in a compact size'. As with any deal, prices are subject to change, so it's advised to verify the retailer's website prior to purchasing. Remember, Amazon operates as a marketplace, so always check the specific retailer offering the product. There's more to explore, including the best Sony lenses for photography and video in 2026, and the best cameras for video creation and vlogging. For budding photographers, there's also an opportunity to enter the International Amateur Photographer of the Year competition, with free entry for those aged 13-21.
