"account": "Dubai Ride 2026 is set to take place on November 1, a date that promises to see a surge in community cycling participation across the city. Registration for this free event is now open, inviting cyclists of all ages and fitness levels to join in. Organisers have announced that the race will commence at five different locations across Dubai, offering two distinct routes: a 4km Downtown family route and a 12km Sheikh Zayed Road challenge.\n\nThe 4km route is a family-friendly course that winds through significant landmarks such as Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera, and the iconic Burj Khalifa, all while remaining flat and easy to navigate. In contrast, the 12km route challenges participants with a more demanding climb over Dubai Canal Bridge, passing through the Museum of the Future and Coca-Cola Arena before concluding at Safa Park.\n\nTo participate, cyclists are advised to arrive between 4am and 6am, with gates closing at 7.30am to ensure a smooth start to the race. All races begin at 6.15am, and it's crucial for participants to adhere to this schedule, as gates will close at 7.30am. After completing the ride, roads will reopen for traffic at 8.15am, allowing cyclists to return home conveniently from the gate they started from.\n\nBibs for the race must be collected in advance, and participants can do so from October 28 to 31 at the Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village located within Zabeel Park.
