"summary": "<report>Mothership</report> reports that OldTown White Coffee, a Malaysian cuisine restaurant chain, will close its last outlet in Singapore, located in Kallang Wave Mall, on Oct. 11, 2026. The closure was announced on Oct. 2 via a Facebook post from the restaurant chain. OldTown White Coffee cited the landlord's decision not to renew their lease at the current location and their inability to reach a mutual agreement for an extension as the primary reasons for the closure. The outlet was one of several OldTown White Coffee locations in Singapore, with others situated in Farrer Park, East Coast, and Novena. Despite the closure, the company did not rule out the possibility of returning to Singapore in the future.",
