"account": "Gauteng police launched an investigation into a fatal shooting that took place on the R21 highway near OR Tambo International Airport. The incident occurred on Monday evening when an alleged associate of Feroz Khan, a former deputy Crime Intelligence boss, was killed and another person was wounded. The shooting unfolded after a Fiat broke down on the highway, causing the driver to call a friend for help. The friend arrived with two others, and as they assisted the vehicle, shots were fired at the group. The driver attempted to flee but lost control of the car, crashing into a barrier and sustaining fatal injuries. One passenger was shot and taken to the hospital, while the third occupant escaped unharmed. The motive behind the attack remains unclear, and no arrests have been made. Police are actively investigating the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and identify those responsible. The killing coincides with Khan's scheduled testimony before the Madlanga Commission on Tuesday, though police have not connected his appearance to the shooting. The deceased's identity has not been disclosed.",
