"account": "Detroit – In Monday's preseason opener, Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks ignited his reputation as a troublemaker. With seven minutes and twenty-three seconds left in the first quarter, Brooks was handed a technical foul at Little Caesars Arena. Last season, Brooks had drawn 17 technical fouls, leading the NBA. While guarding Pistons forward John Collins in the paint, Brooks made physical contact with his forearm extended. Collins responded by grabbing Brooks by the throat, which Brooks met with a defensive reaction. The two engaged in further contact when Brooks tried to reach for the ball, pushing Collins from behind. Security and referees intervened, separating the players who had both received double technical fouls. After a review, Collins received a flagrant one penalty, while Brooks went to the free-throw line and made both shots. Brooks is in his second season with the Suns, and Collins is in his first with the Pistons.",
