"account": "The Coalition of Civil Society Organisations has praised President Bola Tinubu, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and Nigeria's security agencies for their decisive efforts against terrorism. This commendation came after a statement from the US Department of State's Bureau of African Affairs, which lauded Nigeria's response to recent attacks in the Middle Belt and called for continued efforts to protect communities in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State. The US bureau urged sustained efforts and expressed its commitment to working with the Nigerian government to protect Christians in the region.\n\nDr Danladi Dangana, the convener of the Middle-Belt Pan-Nigerian Forum, highlighted that the US recognition indicated progress in the Tinubu administration's anti-terror efforts, coordinated through the Office of the National Security Adviser. The forum's statement emphasized that while the fight against terrorism was far from over, recent developments showed that victory was attainable.\n\nThe Coalition urged Nigerians to support the government and security agencies in their mission to restore peace and security across the country. They also called on the Armed Forces, Nigeria Police Force, and other security agencies to maintain their operations against bandits, kidnappers, and Boko Haram insurgents. However, the forum cautioned that the US commendation should not be seen as a sign of victory, and warned that more work remained to ensure safety for all Nigerians, regardless of their religion or ethnicity.",
