Lulu-Briggs made the pledge during a media chat in Buguma, his hometown in Asari-Toru Local Government Area. He unveiled his campaign blueprint, titled 'Reset Rivers State', which focuses on transparency, accountability, and selflessness. Lulu-Briggs, inspired by the NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi, declared he would not ask for any salary, stating that all his monthly income would go towards assisting widows. He emphasized his financial independence, claiming his businesses would continue to thrive after he leaves office. Lulu-Briggs vowed to rebuild trust between the people and the government, promising a comprehensive reset of Rivers State, covering the economy, politics, governance, and access to opportunities. He also pledged to reform the civil service and invest heavily in young people, seeing them as the backbone of society.",
