"account": "MONTREAL - Promise David walked up to a self-checkout in Estonia, bearing four apples, some bread and no means to pay for them all. The Canadian striker had journeyed through Croatia, Oklahoma and Malta, and was playing unpaid soccer for Nomme Kalju’s reserve team in Estonia’s third tier. On an away match day, David resorted to shoplifting due to hunger, hiding items in his bag to avoid detection. That marked the beginning of an improbable path that would eventually lead him to the Premier League with Brighton & Hove Albion.",
