"account": "Former UFC fighter and Karate Combat champion Sam Alvey is transitioning to bareknuckle boxing, signing a multifight deal with BKFC, the promotion announced on Monday. Alvey, who is still under contract with Karate Combat, will be exclusive to BKFC in bareknuckle boxing. MMA Junkie confirmed through sources that Alvey will make his promotional debut on December 4 at a BKFC Fight Night event in Hershey, Pennsylvania. However, no opponent has been named yet. Since his UFC release in 2022, Alvey has primarily competed under Karate Combat, where he successfully defended his heavyweight title three times before losing it to Robelis Despaigne last December. This summer, Alvey won the Karate Combat light heavyweight title by defeating Uriah Hall via unanimous decision. Alvey's UFC career, from 2014 to 2022, saw him with an 11-13 record.",
