"account": "The Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) has instructed the University of Development Studies (UDS) to immediately halt the delivery of its accredited evening LLB programme as a weekend offering and restore it to its previously approved evening mode. Moreover, GTEC has ordered UDS to stop any arrangements that require admitted students to switch to the weekend delivery format. The university must also ensure no academic or financial disadvantages are imposed on the affected students. The Commission intends to formally inform all affected students and relevant academic and administrative units about this directive and provide documentary evidence of compliance within seven days. Failure to comply within this timeframe could lead to regulatory action, potentially including the suspension or revocation of the programme's accreditation.",
