"account": "Madison – Wisconsin volleyball coach Kelly Sheffield is sharing an update on the injury recovery of outside hitter Grace Egan. Sheffield expressed disappointment that Egan did not include the music from Rocky-style workout montages in her Instagram reel following her injury, as he had hoped. Despite her musical choices, Sheffield has observed some progress from the redshirt junior who has been absent due to a serious back injury for the past month. Sheffield reported that Egan was seen doing light passing, serving, and even participating in team activities. However, she has not been able to travel with the team, having only joined them yesterday. Egan, who was part of the 2025 team's starting lineup, had previously played four matches, accumulating 37 kills in 15 sets, including a notable 17-kill performance against Florida. Egan expressed in a September Instagram post that her back injury had instilled a level of fear and stress she had never faced before. While she has not yet set an exact return date, she has been diligently working towards regaining her position on the court. The Badgers have managed to maintain their winning streak, securing eight victories in their last nine matches since Egan's absence. Sheffield emphasized the positive impact Egan has on her teammates, both on and off the court, stating that being around her brings an energy, camaraderie, and genuine love among the team members.",
