"account": "Madison – Wisconsin volleyball coach Kelly Sheffield expressed disappointment with outside hitter Grace Egan’s injury recovery, specifically regarding her choice of music during her rehabilitation. Despite her use of non-motivational tunes instead of the Rocky-inspired workout montages she and Sheffield had envisioned, Egan has shown promising progress. According to Sheffield, the redshirt junior has been able to ascend stairs, practice light passing, and serve. She even returned to being around the team yesterday, a significant milestone. Egan, a cornerstone of the 2025 team, played four matches before her injury, contributing 37 kills in 15 sets. Her most recent notable performance came in a set against then-No. 17 Florida, where she tallied 17 kills. Egan herself acknowledged the fear and stress her back injury brought, stating that she’s still uncertain about her return date but is diligently working towards it. The Badgers managed to secure eight wins out of their nine matches during Egan’s recovery period. While it remains unclear how long Egan will miss, her mere presence has been beneficial both on and off the court. Sheffield noted, \"Being around her, her teammates love her. She loves her teammates, and there’s an energy and a camaraderie and a love for one another that’s genuine that she brings. Everybody’s a better human when Grace is around.\"",
