Speaking at the ceremony, Abiodun urged the corps members to contribute meaningfully to their host communities during their service year. The governor emphasized the state's commitment to youth empowerment and human capital development through various initiatives under the Building Our Future Together Agenda. Abiodun highlighted that the service year would expose the corps members to diverse cultures, traditions, and perspectives, fostering unity, mutual understanding, and patriotism. He encouraged the young Nigerians to see their service year as an opportunity to make a positive impact, become agents of change, and provide innovative solutions to community problems. Earlier, State Coordinator Mrs. Frances Adewuyi advised the corps members to embrace their service year as a chance to learn from their diverse peers, noting that their temporary stay should not discourage them from making a lasting impact. A total of 1,274 males and 1,639 females were sworn in during the ceremony.",
