"account": "The Ukrainian air force has deployed artificial intelligence-enabled robot guns to shoot down Russia's new, faster jet-powered drones, according to a statement from the air force on Monday. The robotic turrets, installed on bridges, are designed to intercept the improved Russian drones that have been pounding the Ukrainian capital, despite the country's scarcity of ammunition for traditional defense. Colonel Yuri Ignat, an air force spokesman, confirmed that shoot-downs of the drones, including the Geran-5 version, have already taken place. The new turrets utilize optical vision and artificial intelligence to eliminate the need for human intervention in targeting, explaining that 12 of the turrets have been installed in Kyiv, with more to follow. While acknowledging the turrets' limited operational radius, Ignat emphasized that the system is part of a broader integrated air defense strategy. Ukraine is increasingly integrating artificial intelligence into its defense capabilities, employing it both on the frontlines and in strategic operations.",
