"account": "A Kuwaiti man, Abdullah Albadri, has been sentenced to life in prison with a minimum term of 20 years for attempting to attack the Israeli embassy in London. He was found guilty of preparing an act of terrorism and possessing two bladed articles after being convicted on May at London's Old Bailey. Prosecutors stated that Albadri wanted to carry out the attack in retaliation for Israel's actions in Gaza. Evidence presented at the trial revealed that he had researched the embassy's location, carried knives, and had a note indicating his intention to die as a martyr. Albadri had previously applied for asylum in the UK twice before the attempted attack.",
"summary": "Abdullah Albadri, 34, attempted to breach the embassy's perimeter in west London in April 2025 before being stopped by armed police officers guarding the site.",
