"account": "Abdullah Albadri, a 34-year-old man from Kuwait, has been sentenced to life in prison with a minimum of 20 years for attempting a knife attack on the Israeli embassy in London on April 28, 2025. The incident occurred after Albadri arrived in the UK on a small boat in April 2025, having previously applied for asylum and been denied accommodation. On the day of the attack, Albadri was carrying two knives and wearing traditional Arabic clothing. He attempted to breach the embassy's security, but was apprehended by armed police. During his trial at the Old Bailey, Albadri admitted to carrying out the attack to stop the war in Gaza, as his motivation was the deaths of Palestinians. He was found guilty of preparation of terrorist acts and possession of two bladed articles. Mrs Justice Lambert KC delivered the life sentence on Monday.",
