"account": "The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) plans to open 30 Nandini milk parlours at various locations outside metro stations and 90 more in Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) limits, according to a senior KMF official. The Nandini parlours will be situated outside metro stations, parks, playgrounds, and other public places for easy access to consumers. The official mentioned that the exact locations have yet to be decided. This move comes after the Amul brand set up kiosks in Benniganahalli and Baiyappanahalli metro stations in June 2025, which faced opposition from KMF, dairy farmers, and Janata Dal Secular (JD(S)). The KMF has already established 3,000 milk parlours in Karnataka, with 1,500 located in Bengaluru selling Nandini brand products like milk, ice-cream, paneer, sweets, and various drinks. Besides, there are 18,000 retail outlets run by individuals on franchise basis. The KMF has received permission from the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to establish these parlours, and the size of the parlours will depend on the feasibility around each station.",
