"account": "Torrential rain triggered severe flooding in Catalonia, Spain, leading to two deaths and one person still missing. The storms hit the region on Saturday, October 3, prompting authorities to issue a red weather alert and urging residents to stay indoors. By Sunday, October 4, two people had died, one in Tordera and another in Montornès del Vallès, while another was reported missing in Pineda de Mar. The heavy rainfall caused homes to flood and vehicles to be submerged, disrupting transport and forcing hundreds of rescue operations. Catalan President Salvador Illa confirmed the fatalities and warned of further intense rainfall expected. Emergency crews conducted thousands of operations, including 2,440 by firefighters and 8,151 calls to the regional emergency service. The worst of the storm had passed by Monday, but authorities warned residents to remain cautious and begin rebuilding efforts for homes, public facilities, and communication routes.",
