"account": "Former Speaker of Parliament, Professor Mike Oquaye, disclosed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is methodically putting into action recommendations from the committee that assessed its loss in the 2024 general election. The committee was led by Professor Oquaye himself. He stated that the NPP's newly selected leaders would soon be discussing the subsequent phase with key party members. In an interview on Joy FM on October 5th, Professor Oquaye confirmed that the implementation of these recommendations is progressing. Some of the suggestions relate to internal party structures and will be divulged gradually. Other adjustments are of a more confidential nature and will be disclosed as the party progresses. He emphasized that the report remains confidential while the party works through the recommendations. The phased approach aims to tackle the issues identified by the committee and fortify the NPP's preparations for a potential return to power. Professor Oquaye is confident that once all steps have been executed, the party will have a \"plan for victory, a plan for what is something good for the people of Ghana.\"",
