"account": "The Philadelphia Phillies are in the midst of a major decision regarding their next managerial hire, with Alex Cora emerging as the frontrunner. After Rob Thomson's departure earlier this year, interim manager Don Mattingly took temporary charge, but his future remains unclear. It was reported that the Phillies may or may not conduct a managerial search, as Alex Cora appears to have a strong inside track to become their next manager. Former Phillies manager Alex Cora, who previously won the 2018 World Series with the Boston Red Sox alongside Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski, has been offered the job before and is seen as one of the finest managers in the game. However, Cora has recently announced plans to take a summer off to focus on his family, which could complicate the Phillies' decision-making process. If Cora is indeed planning on taking another summer off in 2027 to enjoy a family trip to an African safari, the Phillies may need to expand their search for a new manager.",
