"account": "The Anambra State Government has urged voters to oppose Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, in the 2027 general election. The government argued that Obi has sought to destroy the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) since 2014, stating, \"A betrayal alert for Ndi APGA. Since 2014, Obi has had one mission: to destroy the party that made him.\" The statement highlighted Obi's actions in 2015 when he supported the opposition against APGA, and warned Anambra residents to \"defend your home, resist the NDC.\" The government's message comes after Anambra's incumbent governor, Charles Soludo, announced his support for Tinubu, citing their 22-year friendship and the president's economic reforms. Soludo also encouraged other progressive political parties to form a coalition to strengthen democracy and drive development. Meanwhile, Obi's party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has endorsed Tinubu as its preferred candidate for the 2027 election, despite the candidate's name not appearing on the Independent National Electoral Commission's nomination portal. Recently, Obi and Soludo clashed over financial obligations related to projects implemented during Obi's tenure as Anambra governor.",
