"account": "Swiss President Guy Parmelin received a red-carpet welcome in India on Monday when he met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for discussions on trade and investment. Parmelin stated that his visit aims to foster further growth, marking a year after a trade agreement was signed between Switzerland and a four-member European Free Trade Association (EFTA) comprising Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein. The agreement, which includes a goal to invest US$100 billion in India over 15 years, aims to reduce tariffs and facilitate trade between the EFTA and India. Parmelin emphasized the importance of celebrating their progress and shaping their shared future. During their joint news conference, both leaders announced several initiatives to enhance market access for Indian exports to Switzerland, such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and engineering goods. Additionally, they signed a mobility agreement that will provide more opportunities for Indian students and professionals to study and work in Switzerland.",
