"account": "Australian authorities are probing the potential links to the country of the co-pilot of flydubai flight FZ1073, who stabbed his captain and attempted to hijack the plane, according to a police spokesperson. The co-pilot, an Omani national named Hamam Al-Hammami, is believed to have studied at RMIT University in Melbourne around a decade ago, though the university did not confirm the student's identity or the duration of his studies. The 16,000-foot plunge, which was brought under control by a reserve pilot, was described by Israeli officials as a terrorist attack, though Al-Hammami has not been formally charged. Australian intelligence services reportedly held a file on the individual, but no further details have been disclosed.",
"summary": "The Victorian Joint Counter Terrorism Team – which comprises federal police, Victorian state police and the ASIO intelligence agency – was \"investigating the man's links to Australia,\" the Australian Federal Police spokesperson said.",
