"account": "Former Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles, has initiated legal proceedings against Thames Valley Police in response to his arrest stemming from documents released by the US Justice Department concerning the late Jeffrey Epstein, according to the Telegraph. The arrest occurred in February, with the prince accused of leaking government documents to Epstein during his tenure as a special trade representative between 2001 and 2011. Mountbatten-Windsor has sought a judge's determination on the legality of the police's actions, though Reuters has yet to confirm the report. Neither Thames Valley Police nor Buckingham Palace provided immediate responses to a request for comment. The prince denies any wrongdoing and expressed regret over their friendship with Epstein. He has lodged a judicial review pertaining to the search warrants that led to the raid of his homes on the Sandringham Estate and Royal Lodge in Windsor. Mountbatten-Windsor was interrogated by Thames Valley Police detectives throughout the day following his detention. The police force is investigating allegations that he passed documents to Epstein while serving as the trade envoy. In 2019, the former prince had to relinquish all royal duties due to his connection with Epstein, and in October, he was stripped of his titles and honors by his elder brother amid additional revelations about their relationship.",
