"account": "Singapore's government will discuss the government's review of property purchases made by civil servants involved in rail planning on Oct 6. This review follows a working paper that suggested a link between certain property purchases and the planned locations of MRT stations before their public announcement. The parliamentary session will also address rising retrenchments, the two-year delay to the North-South Corridor, and modifications to the Primary 1 registration procedure. Questions have been submitted to the government regarding the safeguards put in place to prevent civil servants from exploiting confidential information for personal gain.",
"summary": "Members of parliament will also question the government on rising retrenchments, the North-South Corridor delay and changes to Primary 1 registration.",
