"summary": "A minor girl with a disability was allegedly raped at a place of worship in Nellore city on Sunday, October 4, 2026, according to the police. The accused, identified as Jashua, a regular bathroom cleaner, took the girl to the roof of the building and sexually assaulted her, taking advantage of her disability to prevent her from seeking help. Upon receiving a complaint through the emergency helpline (112), police personnel arrested Jashua, who was severely beaten by locals. The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment, and a case was registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The Andhra Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR) advised the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) to ensure the girl received proper medical care and to promptly register a case against the accused to prevent his escape.",
