"account": "Shamsul Iskandar Akin, formerly a senior political secretary to the prime minister, has petitioned the sessions court for the permanent release of his passport to attend various programs in Europe, including the Frankfurt Book Fair, the AlBaraka Summit in London, and business engagements in Ireland and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In his supporting affidavit, Shamsul argued that the permanent release of his passport would enable him to travel internationally for work and contribute to the development of Malaysia's Islamic finance sector. However, the prosecution objected to the request, stating that the documents provided were merely invitation letters, and questioned the urgency of the requested travel, as they could potentially be attended by other individuals. Judge Suzana Hussin granted the temporary release of Shamsul's passport for travel to Frankfurt and London, with a decision on his application for permanent release set for December 8.",
