"account": "Portugal coach Jorge Jesus defended his decision not to introduce Cristiano Ronaldo during warm-ups against Norway, emphasizing that the controversy was blown out of proportion. Speaking after Portugal's recent Nations League match, Jesus explained that the situation should not harm their professional relationship. Despite the forward's status as a national icon, Jesus maintained that Ronaldo's inclusion or exclusion should not be a cause for concern, as similar instances occur regularly without issue. He pointed out that numerous players warmed up but did not come on during matches, questioning the validity of the situation's impact. Jesus clarified that Ronaldo's behavior was an isolated incident, and he remains open to the possibility of the 41-year-old rejoining the national team in the future, provided he wishes to do so. Jesus reiterated that no player is above the team's needs and that decisions on the field are his responsibility.",
