"account": "FBI Director Kash Patel has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins. The couple shared the news on social media on Sunday, with Wilkins posting a photo of their engagement alongside Patel. Patel, 46, announced the engagement in a separate post on his X account, using heart and diamond ring emojis. Wilkins, 27, and Patel met at a friend's event in Nashville in 2022 and began dating in early 2023. Patel took over as the head of the FBI in 2025, and Wilkins was present at his swearing-in ceremony on February 21 of that year. Since Patel assumed his role, questions have arisen about his use of government aircraft and legal actions filed by Wilkins. On Sunday, Wilkins posted a black-and-white picture of herself standing next to Patel, showcasing her engagement ring. She captioned the post, \"Got the law involved.\" Patel shared the photo on his X account, adding heart and diamond ring emojis. In September on the Megyn Kelly Show, Wilkins discussed their first meeting and praised Patel's honesty, consistency, and character. She also mentioned appearing at his Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on FBI oversight on September 15, a rare public appearance. Wilkins is a country singer and political commentator who released her debut EP, \"Grit,\" in 2023. She has ties to conservative groups and has hosted a show on Rumble and served on the board of the National Rifle Association.",
