After discovering Sinestro on Antaan's planet, John Stewart and Hal Jordan encounter Noah Macon, Sinestro's son and a Manhunter, who orchestrated his father's escape from space prison. Noah, who grew up knowing about his Manhunter heritage, plans to protect himself from the Guardians using a lantern forged with the planet's yellow energy. Hal learns about Noah's secret when he finds his portal, and it is Kerry Kane, Noah's mother, who ultimately kills Hal after confronting him about the implications of Noah's existence.",
