"account": "Kpong, Ghana, 19 September 2026 - Ensign Global University (EGU) strengthened its dedication to cultivating future global public health leaders with the matriculation of its latest Master of Public Health (MPH) cohort. The event concluded the year's final matriculation ceremony, as students formally joined the university community. During the proceedings, students recited the matriculation oath, administered by EGU Registrar Mr. Patrick Kuma, pledging their allegiance to the university's core values, including leadership, professionalism, and entrepreneurship. In his opening remarks, EGU President and Professor Stephen Alder delivered an uplifting address to the students, emphasizing the demanding nature of their future path and urging them to welcome the challenges as opportunities for growth. He stated, \"We have to do our job. We need to test you, to stretch you, and to challenge you. If you are not challenged by this (MPH experience), you are not going to be better when you're done. So, it is hard—it is hard because we believe you are capable of taking on these challenges, and through them, you will grow, develop, and become Ensonians.\" Following the address, representatives of the matriculants, Ms. Lawrencia Amoah and Mr. Matthew Imbeah, shared a heartfelt message of gratitude and dedication to the upcoming challenges through teamwork and collaboration. They asserted, \"No single one of us can see health problems wholly.\" The laboratory scientist observes the result, not the household it originated from, while the safety officer focuses on the water source, not the woman who chose it. Each student embodies a vital piece of the puzzle, and they will spend the year piecing together their knowledge to tackle public health issues. The ceremony also included symbolic acts, such as students signing the matricula, officially recording their presence in the university's records. E-GRASAG representatives and guests, including attendees from Brigham Young University, conveyed goodwill messages, with Ms. Rita Coffie, on behalf of the Graduate Students Association, warmly welcoming the newly matriculated students and promising their unwavering support throughout their academic journey.",
