"account": "The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council has demanded answers from Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, regarding a viral video showing him allegedly ordering the arrest of anyone expressing the slogan \"Tinubu Must Go.\" The council expressed concern that Zulum had previously denied ordering such arrests. In a statement, the council pointed out that Nigerians deserve clarity on whether peaceful critics of President Bola Tinubu will face arrest for expressing their political views. \"Governor Zulum must explain the contents of the video and reconcile them with his earlier denial,\" the statement read. The ADC PCC argued that peaceful political expression is protected under democratic principles and that a political slogan or call for a president to leave office does not constitute a crime. They warned against using unrelated allegations as a basis for suppressing dissent and urged Zulum to withdraw any directive targeting peaceful protesters. The controversy arises as opposition groups intensify their activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, using rallies, slogans, and social media to criticise the Tinubu administration.",
