"account": "In the opening round of the WNBA semifinals, Las Vegas Aces guard Jewell Loyd suffered a left leg injury during Game 1 against the Golden State Valkyries and had to be stretchered off early in the third quarter. The Valkyries prevailed 71-60, claiming a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five series at the Chase Center on Sunday, October 4. Loyd's injury occurred shortly after the opening tip, with medical personnel swiftly attending to her. She exited the game after just two minutes in the third quarter. Despite her absence, Loyd managed to finish the contest with a plus/minus rating of +2. However, she failed to find the basket, shooting 0-for-2 and missing both of her three-point attempts. She also contributed two rebounds, an assist, and a turnover during her brief time on the court. The Aces have already faced multiple injuries this postseason, further hampering their depth going into the second round matchup. While they managed to overcome the Indiana Fever in the initial round, they entered the second round against the Valkyries in less than optimal shape. An update from the Aces revealed that Loyd is currently being assessed and is not expected to return to action in the game.",
