"summary": "Iran's top diplomat, Abbas Araghchi, has stated that there is no military solution to the conflict between Iran and the US. According to the South China Morning Post, Araghchi said that if the US chooses a path of military confrontation, Iran's response will be stronger than before. He emphasized that only negotiations based on justice and fairness can end the conflict.\n\nThe conflict is centered around Iran's attempt to blockade the Strait of Hormuz, a vital conduit for Gulf oil and gas, as reported by the National Post and South China Morning Post. The South China Morning Post also mentioned that a UK maritime agency reported another tanker being struck by an unknown projectile in the area.\n\nAraghchi's comments come after a campaign of heavy bombardment failed to bring a decisive close to the war launched by the US and Israel in late February. The US has since dialed back military operations in favor of economic pressure, according to the South China Morning Post.",
