"summary": "Iran's top diplomat has stated that there is no military solution to the conflict with the US, and that only negotiations can end the war. The conflict is focused on the Hormuz Strait.\n\nThe US, however, is pursuing both diplomatic and military options, according to Energy Secretary Chris Wright. He said that President Donald Trump is planning for contingencies and negotiating, with both tracks still open.\n\nA tanker was recently hit by an unidentified projectile in the Strait of Hormuz, causing damage to its engine room, according to UK Maritime Trade Operations.
