"account": "The woman at the center of Cornell rape allegations, identified as Jane Doe, has reportedly faced threats according to her lawyer Thomas Giuffra. Giuffra told CNN that her alleged attackers, several members of a Cornell fraternity, are trying to silence or harm her if she does not withdraw her civil lawsuit. Giuffra expressed his disdain for these threats and the accused, stating they are \"disgusting\" and should remain in their mother's basements. Cornell University President Michael Kotlikoff acknowledged the university's need to examine the role of fraternities and sororities on campus following the allegations. He emphasized that while being part of a group can provide students with positive experiences, it never diminishes individual responsibility. The case has also drawn criticism from prosecutors and even US President Donald Trump, who criticized the appointment of New York Attorney General Letitia James as special prosecutor. Giuffra emphasized that the case should not be politicized, stating, \"It has nothing to do with politics.\"",
