"summary": "A woman who alleges she was gang raped by several Cornell University students has received threats, her lawyer Thomas Giuffra said. According to Giuffra, the threats were made to silence or harm her if she does not withdraw her civil lawsuit.\n\nThe woman, identified as Jane Doe, alleges that she was drugged and raped by several members of a Cornell fraternity in 2024. Her lawyer stated that he thinks there may have been more than seven men involved in the incident, as she was blacked out during periods of time.\n\nCornell University President Michael Kotlikoff has expressed support for an external review of the institution's handling of the case. In a video statement, Kotlikoff said the university \"must do better\" and acknowledged that the incident raises \"heartbreaking and troubling issues\" about sexual assault and party culture.",
