"account": "Perak police have dismantled an illegal cockfighting ring and arrested 41 men in a Papan orchard yesterday evening. The operation, led by the D7 Division of Perak's Criminal Investigation Department with support from multiple other units, resulted in the seizure of RM114,211 in cash and various items related to the illegal gambling activity. Among those arrested was a 50-year-old local man who claimed to be the premises' organizer and owner, alongside two other individuals believed to be a referee and an assistant organizer. The investigation found that the illegal gambling operation had been active since early 2026, with betting stakes reaching up to RM20,000 per round. The case is being investigated under multiple laws, including the Open Gaming Houses Act 1953, the Animal Welfare Act 2015, and the Immigration Act 1959/63. Police have vowed to take firm action against anyone involved in illegal gambling activities and animal cruelty.",
