"account": "The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council has called on Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum for clarification following the emergence of a video where he is alleged to have ordered the arrest and detention of individuals expressing the phrase \"Tinubu Must Go\". This directive has raised concerns as Zulum had previously denied issuing such an order. In response to the viral video, the campaign council expressed their concern over the potential impact on democratic rights of Nigerians who may face arrest simply for expressing their political opinions. They emphasized that peaceful political expression is protected under democratic principles, and no governor should have the authority to criminalise such opinions. The council urged Zulum to clarify the situation and ensure that no one would be arrested solely for opposing President Bola Tinubu. This development comes amidst heightened political activity leading up to the 2027 general elections, with opposition groups employing various tactics to mobilise supporters and criticize the Tinubu administration.",
